Rwanda is on a trajectory growth and development in all scopes of life from infrastructure, health sector, technology, tourism…etc Visual arts being one of the sectors that are directly benefiting from this growth, one can not hesitate to mention that there is a lack of consistent support to emerging artists to grow their talent.

This said, Modern Art Dynamic Space Kigali is contributing to resolve this challenge, as well as support a mentorship in put to the directly affected artist in order to grow their talent and be able to live from it too.

Located in one of the busiest neighbourhoods of Kigali, Kacyiru, that ranges from a mix of offices, Cafes, restaurants, bars with great night ambiance, M.A.D.S Kigali showcases a diverse group of emerging Rwandan artists.

With a collection of artworks having a mix of realism expression and abstract representation, the gallery is aspiring to build a convincing statement in the rising field of Visual Arts of the country.

Activities

Weaving

It is our duty to engage the community around us in creative culture that we are developing. One of our activities being weaving, we provide classes to our audience including traditional weaving forms.

Live Painting

We offer painting classes to our audience as a form of growing talent and offer an experience to savour creativity.This is a way of bonding with our clients and build a bigger connection with the art lovers.

Pottery Making

Through our history, Rwandans have always had different forms of art. We offer pottery classes, to introduce to the art lovers the various pottery techniques that enrich our historical styles.

Jewelery Making

As a space that is building an appreciation of Visual arts culture in our community, we provide an experience to enjoy traditional dancing practice. This is an opportunity that shares a platform of showcasing the joyous moments and the unique dancing style of Rwandans.
